Typically, facelift procedures are performed on men and women between 40 and 70 years old, however there is no “best” age for a facelift. Patients who are good candidates for facelift surgery are determined by the depth and degree of facial aging they are experiencing. During a consultation with our experienced plastic surgeon,Jeffrey Scott, MD, he will thoroughly analyze the condition of your face and neck to establish the amount of surgical enhancement that is necessary to achieve a more youthful appearance.
The approach Dr. Scott recommends will be a direct reflection of the discoveries he has made during your examination. If he determines that it is not yet time for a full facelift, he may suggest smaller procedures such as mini-facelift and an eyelid lift, or even a series of non-surgical treatments like dermal fillers and laser skin rejuvenation, to provide adequate cosmetic improvement for the time being. When you are ready for a facelift, Dr. Scott will devise a customized surgical plan based on your unique anatomy, degree of aging, and desired results. He may even propose combining facelift surgery with other procedures, such as neck lift and/or brow lift surgery, to help you achieve comprehensive facial rejuvenation.
When you come to The Plastic Surgery Center, you can trust that Dr. Scott will draw from his extensive experience in facial plastic surgery to develop an individualized treatment plan designed to create youthful, natural-looking results.
